Mark T. Bush, 45, Dysart, died Sunday in Dean Township as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Spangler, son of Ella Jean (Shepler) Bush and the late Harold Bush.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl (Coudriet); a daughter, Erica Bush (Paul Meenan) of West Hampton Beach, N.Y.; Erica's mother, Erin Overton-Bush of Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Nicole Weld of Altoona; his mother and stepfather, Robert McMillen of Dysart; four siblings: Kevin (Beverly) of Beaufort, S.C., John and fiancee, Dale Litzinger, of Portage, Cheryl Kephart and fiance, Brian Kuhn, of Altoona and Marcie Bush (Dave LeFevre) of Altoona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father on June 28, 1984; his grandparents; a niece, Michelle Bush; and a nephew, Steven Bush.
Mark was a 1985 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and was employed at the State Correctional Institution at Cresson in the maintenance department. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Desert Storm.
Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and doing auto body work.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, the Rev. Robert Witherow officiating. Committal will be at Richland Cemetery, Dysart, with military rites by Ashville VFW and other local military organizations.
