Jeffrey Lee Henderson, 54, Altoona, died Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Altoona, son of Mary Battisti Henderson. He married Melissa Jo Crust on Nov. 17, 1984, in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife, Melissa; a daughter, Chelsea L. Henderson of Altoona; two sons: Corey M. Henderson of Altoona and Cody T. Henderson at home; a granddaughter, Aubryn Vaught of Altoona; a sister, Merry Ann Frazier of Duncansville; a sister-in-law, Molly Spinazzola and husband, Mark, and their children Jarrod, Jenna and Jaci; nephews: Stephen N. Battisti, Jimmy Frazier, David Frazier and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by a brother, Paul John Battisti Jr.
Mr. Henderson was a member of Grace Bible Church, Hollidaysburg.
He was a 1977 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He was employed as a technician for Stericycle.
Jeff enjoyed watching his sons play ball, shooting pool, camping, computers and his dogs: Tucker and Reggie. He was a proud grandfather and had a great love for his church, to which he was very dedicated.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Daren Ritchey officiating.
