CLAYSBURG - Sheetz Inc. will hold a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at its new employee health and wellness center at 10 a.m. today.
The Sheetz Center for Shwellness, located beside the Sheetz Distribution Center, is intended to help Sheetz employees improve their overall health by creating awareness of their own health conditions, while allowing them to better manage their medical care costs.
"Sheetz has been voted by our employees as among the best places to work for more than a decade because we do everything we can to acknowledge their value and keep them happy in their jobs," President and CEO Stan Sheetz said in a statement.
"We are proud to be able to invest in the lives of our team members across the company, and we hope the programs and services offered at the center will keep them on a path to healthier lifestyles."
Sheetz, along with its partner Marathon Health, will use medical staff to provide individual health and wellness coaching to employees and their eligible dependents. All services are offered to eligible employees and dependents free of charge.
