Stella M. Fedor, 91, a resident of Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Flinton, died Tuesday at the home.
She was born in Ashville, daughter of the late John and Anna (Soloman) Slovikosky.
Surviving are two daughters: Carol Brink of Irvona and Nancy Fedor of Coalport; two grandsons: David and Kevin Brink; three siblings: Josephine Kava in Michigan, Stanley (Sadie) of Coalport and Walter (Beverly) in Virginia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, on April 17, 1964; and seven siblings: Sophie Slovikosky, Albert, Nellie, Helen Ball, Anna Olszewski, John and Louis.
Stella worked as a postal clerk in Flinton and Fallentimber and retired in 1983. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport, where a vigil service will be held this afternoon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality, the Rev. Sean Code as celebrant. Committal will be at St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville.
