John Gerald Kelley, 87, Hampstead, N.C., formerly of Altoona, died Nov. 4, 2012. He was born in Frankstown, son of the late John G. Sr. and Anna (MacNeill) Kelley. Surviving are a sister, Mary Anna Kelley; and a brother, Leo G. Kelley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Greifzu; and a brother, Louis M. Kelley. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the chapel of Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
