Joseph A. Benco Jr., 72, Blain City, Coalport, died Wednesday. He was born in Hopewell, son of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Evelyn G. (Mellott) Benco. Surviving are his wife, Fran (Guckes); two children: Debbie Livezey of Fairless Hills and Joseph A. III of Levittown; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport, the Rev. Zab Amar as celebrant. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport.
