William J. "Bill" Regala, 93, Gallitzin, died Tuesday. He was born in Clearfield, son of Louis and Anna (Leja) Regala. Surviving are five children: Daniel and Brian, both of Gallitzin, Darcy and David, both of Ebensburg, and Marlane of Hollidaysburg; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Genevieve Mikolajczyk of Cresson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; a daughter, Janet Dzielski; and three siblings: Stella Shyrock, Alex and Michael. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Gibbons Funeral Home, Gallitzin. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin.
