Maryann Susan "Sue" Gregory, 61, Altoona, died Thursday morning at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Edward and Aileen Russ.
Surviving are her partner, Norman Cuff; two children: James Tolan of Altoona and Michelle Dreese and fiance, Tsani Johnson, of Altoona; six grandchildren: Isaac and Ryan Dreese, Nathan Crynock and Dominic, Mackenzie and Ta' Sonya Johnson; and two brothers: Johnny Russ of Huntingdon and George Russ and wife, Linda, of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dreese; a sister, Nancy Russ; and a brother, Jim Russ.
Sue was formerly employed by Boyer Candy Co., Value City Department Store and the Double S. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Uno, baking and cooking.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, the Revs. George Bailey and Paul Johnson officiating.
