Reading the paper and watching the news, I am wondering what is happening to our country.
Right now we have two people in Washington deciding the fate of the rest of the country.
Since when did two people get that kind of power? I, for one, thought the people of our country elected a Congress to make decisions as a governing body for all people of this nation.
Now it is my opinion that we have two people in Washington trying to see who might be the better dictator.
If they really want to balance the budget, try paying for their own retirement, health care, transportation, office rental and all the other perks they receive. In other words, try acting like a regular citizen instead of a career politician who is hungry for more power. Regular citizens pay their own way as should all politicians.
This is not only a problem in federal government but in state government as well.
