The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region through 7 p.m. Saturday.
A fast-moving area of low pressure is expected to pass just to the south of the area on Saturday, creating a widespread 2- to 4-inch snowfall across central Pennsylvania late tonight and during the day on Saturday.
