Dorothy L. (Carruthers) Evon, 93, died Dec. 31, 2012, in Porter, Texas. She was born in Lilly, daughter of William and Alice Carruthers. Surviving are two daughters: Linda Rose and Kathryn Kavanshansky; three granddaughters; and a sister, Lois Brann of Van Wert, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E.; a son, Joseph M.; a grandson; two brothers: William and Kenneth Carruthers; and three sisters: Esther Claar, Ethel Campagna and Margaret Bart. A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date. Arrangements are by Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly.
