Patricia A. Gates, 57, Altoona, died Saturday at Altoona Regional. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late James Sr. and Alice (Hitchings) Gates. Surviving are her fiance, Rollins Walters; a son, David; a grandson; and a brother, John. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona, followed by a committal service at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery by Pastor George Sanders.
