Tara Baughman and Brock Benson were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Aug. 18 at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, Duncansville.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Amy Baughman of Altoona.
The bridegroom is the son of Heidi Benson and Randy Benson, both of Altoona.
Pastor Brad Runkle performed the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Janea Baughman was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lauren Hoffer and Brittany Umstead.
Travis Benson served as best man.
Ushers were Brandon Benson and Derrick Hoffer.
The reception was held at Laurel Lodge, Duncansville.
Courtney Shultz was guest book attendant.
The couple took a wedding trip to Sandals, Montego Bay, Jamaica.
They live in Roanoke, Va.
Mrs. Benson is a 2007 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and a 2011 graduate of South Hills School of Business & Technology, State College, with an associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography.
She is an echocardiographer at Carillon Clinic, Roanoke.
Mr. Benson is a 2005 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn State University, DuBois, where he received his associate degree in wildlife technology, and a 2011 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, with a bachelor's degree in recreation, park and tourism management.
He is a fish culturist at the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Salem, Va.
