Jack H. Geisel Sr., 88, Alum Bank, died Sunday. He was born in Alum Bank, son of the late Vernon G. and Sue E. (Barefoot) Geisel. Surviving are his wife, Betty J. (Claycomb) Geisel; children: Jack H. Geisel Jr., Thomas L. Geisel and Linda L. Winegardner; and six grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home Inc., 4340 Quaker Valley Road, Alum Bank, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, with the Rev. David Zona and the Rev. Thomas Strandburg officiating. Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.
