Margaret M. (Hollen) Felix, 69, Tyrone, formerly of Bellwood, went to be with the Lord Friday afternoon at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
She was born in Philipsburg, daughter of the late Cloyd T. and Laura C. (Laird) Hollen. She married Burton D. Felix on July 9, 1993, at Rankin Chapel United Methodist Church, Clintonville, and he died July 5, 2000.
Surviving are a brother, Cloyd W. (Audrey) Hollen of Franklin; nieces and nephew: Sharon Hollen of Mullins, S.C., Marlene Sunderland of Tyrone and Wayne (Robin) Hollen of Durham, N.C.; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; and a great-great-niece and great-great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dotty Diehl; and a nephew, Martin "Marty" Diehl.
Margaret retired as a manager with the Social Security Administration in Boyers. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Tyrone. She enjoyed traveling, playing games on her computer and listening to old hymns.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, the Rev. Barry Neal officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
The family suggests that contributions in Margaret's memory be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Tyrone.
