The U.S.A. Ambassador State Pageant for Pennsylvania is accepting registrations for contestants. The pageant will be held on April 28 at the Ramada Altoona Conference Center.
The Pennsylvania U.S.A. Ambassador pageant is under the directorship of Jackie Russo, assisted by Typhani Russo, who also serves as the emcee and choreographer for the event. The U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant System is a charity-driven organization celebrating individuality in today's young girl and young woman.
U.S.A. Ambassador Queens promote and encourage each delegate's pageant success through the skills that they find most important to succeeding in life: Success Through Leadership, Integrity, Character and Confidence. The pageant will recognize young women ages 4 to 25 for their academic achievement, community involvement, leadership ability and communication skills.
The pageant is a six-tiered system featuring competitions for the titles of Little Miss PA U.S.A. Ambassador (ages 4 to 6), Miss PA Junior Preteen U.S.A. Ambassador (ages 7 to 9), Miss PA Preteen U.S.A. Ambassador (ages 10 to 12), Miss PA U.S.A. Ambassador Jr. Teen (ages 13 to 15), Miss PA U.S.A. Ambassador Teen (ages 16 to 18) and Miss PA U.S.A. Ambassador (ages 19 to 25).
Scoring and Competitions
Little Miss, Jr. Preteen and Preteen Divisions: 35 percent interview, 25 percent evening wear, 25 percent U.S.A. Fashion Wear or highest scoring Optional and 15 percent Onstage Fun Chat.
Junior Teen, Teen and Miss Divisions: 35 percent interview, 25 percent evening wear, 25 percent U.S.A. Fashion Wear or highest scoring Optional and 15 percent onstage conversation.
Optional competitions offered include talent, spokesmodel, acting, fashion-wear modeling, photogenic (both natural and glamour), best in class/academic achievement, community service and fit and fabulous. Each of the six Pennsylvania state title winners crowned for 2013 will advance to the Miss U.S.A. Ambassador National Pageant to be held at Innisbrook, A?Salamander Golf & Spa Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla., from July 31 through Aug. 4.
