Cornelia A. Yocum, 78, Hollidaysburg, died Monday in Altoona.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Floyd and Bessie (Dively) Dively. She married Donald B. Yocum on July 1, 1968, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her husband, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage; a daughter, Dixie Claar and husband, Sherwood, of Claysburg; a son, Donald of Hollidaysburg; three grandchildren: Meagan, who was raised in the family home, Perry and Justin; two great-grandchildren: Daleene and Phoenix; a great-great-granddaughter, Miya, expected any day; and two sisters: Caroline Weimert of Saxton and Sis Finelli of Cleveland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Eckenrod; an infant granddaughter, Tina Eckenrod; a sister; and four brothers.
Cornelia retired from Veeder-Root Co. after 29 years of service as an assembler. She was a faithful member of Leamersville Church of the Brethren, and she enjoyed Christian music.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, Pastors Stephen Durr and Wayne Ayer officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church.
