Mary Louise McKelvey, 89, Hollidaysburg, died March 3, 2013, at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.

She was born in Lakemont, daughter of the late William M. and Junie (Price) Dotzler. She married Clair E. McKelvey on Dec. 16, 1940, in Cumberland, Md., and he died Aug. 14, 2009, after having shared 68 years of marriage.

Surviving are two daughters: Shirley Ann Brandt and husband, Glenn, of Garden Heights and Claire Louise Burk and husband, George, of Hollidaysburg; a son, Thomas Edward of Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Adele McKelvey, in February 2013; and an infant son, Michael. She was the last surviving member of a family of five.

Mary attended Altoona High School and retired from SKF in 1984 after 24 years of service as an assembler. She was a member of the former Garden Heights United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, quilting, crafts, knitting and crossword puzzles.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, March 16, 2013, at St. John's Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg, Pastor David P. Haydu officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
