Vickie Lynn (Lingenfelter) Snyder, 52, James Creek, went to be with the Lord Monday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Iva Kathaleen (Corle) Lingenfelter and the late Ronald Eugene Lingenfelter.
Surviving are her mother; her fiance, Kevin Glass of James Creek; three daughters: Jessica Crocker and husband, Joseph, of Fishertown, Autumn Claycomb and husband, Bradley, of Bedford and Kylie Snyder and fiance, Andrew Roland, of Fishertown; seven grandchildren: Austin and Isaiah Crocker, Korbin and Kaydence Claycomb, Camden Dodson and Alexa and Kylee Roland; a brother, Ronald "Butch" Lingenfelter and wife, Kim, of King; and four sisters: Janice Mussleman of Roaring Spring, Judith Crist and husband, Mike, of Osterburg, Patty Larson and husband, Edward "Kip," of Imler and Brenda Jordan of Alum Bank.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jacob Glass, and mother-in-law, Joann Glass.
Vickie worked as a patent processor at NPC. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Imler. She was a big NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed boating and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, Fishertown, Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating. Interment will be at Imler Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Vickie's name to the Center for Organ Recovery & Education, 204 Sigma Drive, RIDC Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
