Chuck Detwiler, 37, Bald Eagle, died Thursday at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of Charles E. and Mary Ann (Green) Detwiler.
Surviving are five children: Trenton, Jared, Malayna, Hayley and Jada; two grandchildren: Karihanna and Kashus; his mother, Mary Ann; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; and a brother, Bradley.
He was formerly employed by G & R Excavating.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at First Church of Christ, Altoona, with Pastor John Collins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Malayna Detwiler or his aunt, Lori Irvin.
