Grace Pulcine-Mills, 77, wife of the late Merrill Duane Mills, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Baptist Easley Hospital, Easley, S.C.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Mildred McGinnis-Pulcine.
Surviving are a son, Larry (Laurie) Mills of New Port Richie, Fla.; four daughters: Debra (Rock) Haas of White Lake, Mich., Teresa (Adam) Luciano of Altoona, Kathleen (Rob) McNuer of Easley, S.C., and Christin Mills-Jesse of New Munster, Wis.; three brothers: Ron, Charles and Robert Pulcine; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Merrill Duane Mills Jr., and two brothers: John and Walter Pulcine.
Grace was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She worked for Bell Telephone as an operator in the 1960s. Although she was severely handicapped from rheumatoid arthritis since she was a teenager, she celebrated life to the fullest. She loved experiencing life to the fullest. She loved experiencing adventures, especially the ones she was told were out of her reach. She lived!
A memorial service will be set up at a future date.
