Emmert Gail Cox passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, after a brief illness.
He was born in Pinecroft, son of the late Earl and Clara (Turnbaugh) Cox. He was married to Marie (Bryan) Cox, who died in 1998, then to Beverly (Cruscial) Cox.
Surviving are his wife and four children: William, Elaine McKay, Earl and Dan.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Aldenia; and two brothers: Gerald and Harlan.
Emmert served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired after many years of service at General Chemical Corp. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 424 in Bellwood and a member of the Bellwood-Antis Lions Club and Trinity United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
