Kenneth L. Crissman, 89, Turkey Valley, died early Friday morning at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
He was born in Turkey Valley, son of the late Roy and Ruth (Hileman) Crissman. He married Dorothy L. Ritchey on May 23, 1953, in Cumberland, Md.
Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared nearly 60 years of marriage; a son, Alan K. and companion, Charlotte; two grandchildren: Alan and Sadie; and a sister, Martha Diehl.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul, John and Luther F.
Kenneth was a 1942 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Penn Jacobson in Altoona as a machinist. He was a former member of Geeseytown Lutheran Church.
Kenneth enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, trapping and the outdoors.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. by Robert L. Crissman. Interment will be at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
