Una R. Lang, 90, formerly of Juniata Valley Road, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday evening at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Weyant, daughter of Roy and Alice (Mock) Corl. She was married to Ralph E. Lang on June 25, 1946, at Hollidaysburg Church of God by the Rev. Wesley Wright. He passed away Nov. 7, 2012, after having shared 66 years of marriage.
Surviving are two daughters: Patricia Smith and husband, Glenn, of St. Peters, Mo., and Cindy Svebel and husband, Paul, of Mapleton Depot; a son, Darrell and wife, Janet, of Carson Valley; three grandsons: Doug, Darrell Jr. and Derek; a sister, Gloria Corl of Bedford; and a brother, Paul of Imler.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings: Omelia Ake, Ruth Dubinsky, Miriam Chappell, Byron, Eugene, Glenn and Wayne; and an infant son, Allen.
Una was a homemaker but had previously worked for Sylvania during WWII. She was a member of First Church of God, Hollidaysburg.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. by the Rev. Sharon C. Erb. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
