EVERETT - Fink and Anthony DeGol carded a 125 to win the Down River Golf Course Invitational. Shaun Foor and and Cameron Sprowls (130) finished second, and Bernie Deloreto and David DeGol Jr. (134) took third.
Daryl Booher and Brady Smith won the first flight with a 134, while John Bankes and Matt Barksman (136) took second, and Brady James and Jordan Kirsch (137) placed third.
Keith Danner and Greg Johnson won the second flight with a 141, and there was a three-way tie for second at 144 among the teams of Carl Michael Jr. and Nathan Michael, Joe Nastasi Jr. and Joe Nastasi Sr. and Craig Paylor and Brett Cornelius.
n Cubby Davis carded a hole-in-one on the Park Hills 15th hole with a 5 iron on Saturday. It was witnessed by Mike Taylor, Dave Elliot and John Brown.
n Ray Thomas carded a hole-in-one on the Park Hills 16th hole with a 6 iron. It was witnessed by Maury Lawruk, Chuck Ford and Rich Papp.
Brad Swindell and Mike Koontz won the third flight with a 143, while Francis Pirozzola and Eric Glunt (147) took second, and Gary Bard and Marvin Kendall (148) placed third. Randy and Aaron Ritchey won the fourth flight with a 145, and the teams of Randy Jarrett and Mark Steele and Brian Phillips and Dave McCahan tied for second at 146.
Daryl Detwiler and Brian Baker won the fifth flight with a 141, while Justin Ramsey and Doug Dodson (146) finished second, and Scott Pletcher and Steve Shreve (149) took third.
Brad Varner and Cory Kylor won the sixth flight with a 150, and there was a three-way tie for second at 153 among the teams of John Defibaugh and Jeff May, Larry Lecompte and Craig Munson and Ron Kenner and Derek Fink.
Oscar McDermitt and Ed McKinney won the seventh flight with a 159, while Jimmy Karns and Terry Morral (161) finished second, and George Fox and Joe Beegle (162) took third.
North East Juniors
ORE HILL - Six area junior golfers won their divisions when the North East Junior Golf Tour stopped at Iron Masters Country Club on Tuesday.
Hollidaysburg's Jerome Landry won the boys 16-18 Pine Valley Division with a 79. Ebensburg's Dom Stevens won the boys 13-15 Oakmont Division with an 84, while Altoona's Derek Fink won the Pine Valley Division in the same age group with an 85.
Cresson's Maddie Krug won the girls division with a 101. Ebensburg's Alex Kiepert won the boys 10-12 Oakmont Division with an 81, while Bedford's John Ingrund won the Pine Valley Division with a 106.
The area was well represented in all the divisions, including the boys 16-18 Pine Valley, where Hollidaysburg golfers Jesse Ottaway (85), Grant Delozier (87), David Snyder (87) and Danny Stubbs (92) took second through fifth, and Ross Woomer (97) was seventh.
In the boys 16-18 Oakmont, Altoona's Trentin Martin (79) was third, while Cresson's Ian Dunmyer (80) was tied for fourth. Ebensburg's Gabe Seymour (82), Hollidaysburg's Hunter Shields (83) and Altoona's Elijah DeHaven (87) and Chris Curfman (93) placed eighth through 11th.
In the boys 13-15 Oakmont, Ebensburg's Collin Seymour (85) and Jeremy Eckenrode (89) were second and fourth, respectively, and Hollidaysburg's Isaac Wood (86) was third.
In the boys 13-15 Pine Valley, Hollidaysburg's David Schraff (91) and Altoona's John Paul Duffy (94) took third and fourth, respectively. Hollidaysburg's Adam Rosenbaum and Altoona's Nate Lawhead tied for sixth at 98, and Hollidaysburg's J.J. Collins (115) was 10th.
In the boys 10-12 Oakmont, Altoona's Andrew Ferguson (92) and New Paris' Kyler Pennabaker (98) were third and fourth, respectively. In the Pine Valley, Hollidaysburg's Quinn Garrity (111) and Altoona's Jonah Brandt (117) were second and third, respectively.
Last Thursday at Glengarry Golf Links in Latrobe, Altoona's Chris Michelone won the boys 16-18 Oakmont Division with a 76, while Landry won the Pine Valley Division with an 80.
Ottaway (89) finished second behind Landry, and Krug (90) was second in the girls division.
Kings Restaurants Juniors
GREENSBURG - Hollidaysburg's Jordan Kirsch carded a 70 to win the boys 17-18 division of the Kings Restaurants Junior Golf Tournament by four strokes at the Valley Green Country Club.
David and Scott Schraff had the low gross of 68, and Tim and Matt Litz had the low net of 54.4 in the Father's Day Parent Child Chapman event at Park Hills Country Club.
Bill Dambeck carded a 29 to become the odds winner in the Odds/Even net division of the Senior Slam. He was followed by Lynn Grove (30), Don McKnight (32) and Joe Saciaro (33). Joe Hocherel carded a 30 to win the even, and he was followed by Ron Dandrea (30), Ray Thomas (31) and Dave Francis (31).
CRESSON - John and Quintin Dziabo carded a 38 to win Flight A of the Summit Country Club's Father's Day Tournament two-player scramble (using a point system) by seven points over Bernie and Guido Fabbri (31).
Buddy and Zak Newton won Flight B with a 28, while the teams of Andy and Mike Carney and Mike and Steve DeStefano tied for second at 27.
Jim and Jared Grassi won Flight C with a 25, while the teams of Bob Biter and Rob Capelli and Doug and Tanner Fogel tied for second at 22. Ken and Neil Hammond won a card-off against Roger and Brandon Crist to win Flight D after both had 15.
Skill prize winners were Brady Eckenrode (closest tee shot on 4), Roger Crist (closest tee shot on 8), Denny Michina Sr. (closest tee shot on 12), Zak Newton (longest putt on 9) and Mike Reese (longest putt on 18).
HOLLIDAYSBURG - Kathy Bottenfield and Deb Showalter had the low gross of 69 in the Scotch Valley Country Club's Ladies Tri-County Scramble on Tuesday.
Chris Sisto and Bev Ricketts (70) finished second, while Gwen Paden and Patti Dodson (71) took third, and Deb Long and Anita Jo Petrusky (71) placed fourth.
Brenda Flick and Diane Brubaker had the low net of 48, while Donna Mannino and Evelyn Monahan (49) placed second, Diana Naugle and Therese Perino (50) finished third, and Mary Jane Terza and Barb Holtz (51) placed fourth.
In the Parent/Child Tournament, Steve and David Genter had the low gross, while Ted and Chris Kroll had the low net. Ken and Bryan Koronowski placed second in the net.
HOLLIDAYSBURG - Dave and David Snyder took first place in the Sylvan Hills Golf Club's Father & Son Tournament with a 72 on Sunday.
Marty and Steve Long (73) finished second, and Ray and Gary Naugle (76) placed third.
Louise Barner had longest drive on the eighth hole, and Sue Green had the longest putt on the eighth during the Ladies Day Event on Tuesday.
PORTAGE - Neil Rapski, Joe Selepack, Sam Resconich and Al Bihary carded a 30 to win the Maple Crest Senior Scramble. Bob Spaid, Jim Cornelius, Reno Tavernini and Ray Torrez (32) finished second.
Chip Fox, Sam DeYulis and Eldy Shoff (33) placed third, while Paul Moses, Pat Podrasky, Steve Koval and Herb Adams (34) finished fourth. Jerry Bolton, Frank Oshaben, Don Ellis and Bob Knieriem (35) took fifth, while Karl Vickroy, Bruce Walkovich, Bill Dobrowolsky and Steve Shedlock (37) finished sixth.
Moses was the pin point winner, and Torrez had the longest putt.
West Penn Open
FARMINGTON - Ebensburg's Edward Maruca carded a 230 in the 109th PNC West Penn Open Championship at Nemacolin Woodlands-Mystic Rock.
HUNTINGDON - Geoff Clarke won the low gross with a 38, while Deron Fultz had the low net of 36 in the Huntingdon Country Club's Big Orange Golf League.
Bill Frazier's birdie putt on the eighth hole was the shot of the day.
