Gladys R. Imler, 73, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late Arthur P. and Elda M. (Glass) Imler.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Hyder (Scott) of Powhatan, Va.; three grandchildren: Brandy, Kyle and Sam, all in Virginia; three brothers: Ray Glass (Jane) of Hollidaysburg, with whom Gladys resided for many years, Arthur P. Imler Jr. (fiancee Lil) of Bellwood and Wilford Imler of Altoona; and two sisters: Mary Wilbur and
Dorothy Grabosky, both of Altoona.
Gladys enjoyed cleaning and doing housework, watching children, dancing and doing word search and crossword puzzles.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, July 19, 2013, at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., 1218 Fourth Ave., Duncansville, Pastor Barry Fry officiating.
Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blair County Veterans Honor Guard.
