Heritage Hike: Hollidaysburg Canal Basin, 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Canal Basin Park parking lot on Bedford Street. The tour will cover about 2 to 3 miles, rain or shine. Wear comfortable, sturdy footwear. Tour is free, but reservations are required.

"Journey Around Lake Conemaugh" van tour. Meet at the visitor center to join a ranger-guided van tour of the Johnstown Flood National Memorial, including the Clubhouse of the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club and the ruins of the South Fork Dam. The one-hour tours start at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. daily. The tour is free with $4 park admission.

Bat Count, 8 p.m. until sundown Friday, meet at the old barn along Long Road. Follow signs for parking. Bring a folding chair or blanket for seating and arrive a little early to sample from a bat buffet.
Pollinator Party, 3:30 p.m. Saturday, meet at Pavilion No. 3 at Muskrat Beach. Learn about the important pollinators of our area. Features include a relay race and fun craft for kids.
Nocturnal Notions Poetry Walk, 8 p.m. Saturday, meet at Point Trailhead parking lot, near the campground entrance on Beaver Valley Road. This 0.4 mile hike is appropriate for all ages. Wear sturdy shoes.
Library at the Lake, 10:30 a.m. Sunday, meet at the small pavilion near the campground office. This week's topic is butterflies. This event is for children ages 4-12 and they must be accompanied by an adult.
Nature at the Pond, noon to 2 p.m., nature table at Pickerel Pond. This week's theme is "Pollination Part-ners."

Friday Evening Hiking Series - Lake Shore Trail, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, meet at Picnic Area No. 2 parking area near the boat rental. This hike is 3.4 miles long over easy terrain.

Intro to Backpacking Hike: Back Country Navigation, 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, meet in front of the boat rental building. This is a 2.5 mile conditioning hike along Whipple Lake Trail. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a snack and plenty of water.
