Ham-Broccoli Chowder

2 cups cubed ham

2 cups water

1/4 cup minced onion

4 ounces (1 cup) shredded Swiss cheese

1 tablespoon flour

1 cup milk

Dash of pepper

1 10-ounce package frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)

1 cup light cream

Dissolve flour in milk. Put all ingredients except cream in slow cooker; cover and cook on automatic for 4 hours. Add cream and stir before serving.
