ASO performing Halloween-themed concert

Celebrate spooky season with Maestro Nick Palmer and the Altoona Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra presents “Halloween Fantastique” at the Mishler Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. Back by popular demand, this concert will feature many of the hauntingly beautiful classics you know and love, such as excerpts from “Symphonie Fantastique” and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” along with music from Halloween hit films including “Hocus Pocus,” “Ghostbusters,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Join in costume for an evening of music to die for.
