Curve FanFest slated for April 1
Altoona Curve baseball fans are invited to attend Curve FanFest 2025 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at The Casino at Lakemont Park, Altoona.
This event serves as the first opportunity for fans to meet the manager, baseball players and coaches who will make up the Altoona Curve’s opening day roster, while celebrating the start of the upcoming 27th season.
FanFest 2025 is sponsored by the Altoona Curve Booster Club. The cost is $20 for Booster Club members, $22 for nonmembers, $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.
Doors open at 5:25 p.m., with the event beginning with a video. Curve merchandise and ticket information tables, along with the opportunity to purchase basket raffle tickets, will be available. Curve mascot Loco also will be appearing.
Food and drinks will be served. The buffet dinner will start at 5:45 p.m. in the Grand Pavilion Ballroom.
The menu will include grilled chicken breast, red-skin potatoes, buttered corn, penne with marinara sauce, tossed salad, chips and dessert. Beverages will include soda and water. A cash bar will be available.
At 6:45 p.m. members of the team will be introduced on stage. Starting at 7:30 p.m., an autograph session will be held in the Soho Room as fans will have the opportunity for photographs and one-on-one interaction with the new team, coaches and managers.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 814-943-5400 or at Peoples Natural Gas Field main office from noon to 4 p.m. from Monday, March 10, through Monday, March 31. Credit cards, checks or cash payments are acceptable. No tickets will be sold at the event.
