Farmers market vendors will need to submit an application to be reviewed and approved for participation in the Ebensburg market this year. Deadline to apply is April 5.

The farmers market is held Saturdays from July 6 through Sept. 21 at Penn Eben Park and is for lower growers to sell their products.

Hosted by the Ebensburg Main Street Partnership, the market is intended only for those who grow and make their own produce and is not intended for vendors to resell items purchased elsewhere, said Danea Koss, community development director.

Items that are typically sold at the market are fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers and herbs, maple syrup, honey, eggs, baked goods and other homegrown and homemade items.

Craft vendors will not be allowed due to space limitations, Koss said.
