Routch announces bid for judge

Routch

Blair County attorney Mike Routch has announced his intention to seek one of the two open seats on the Court of Common Pleas of Blair County. Routch narrowly lost a primary bid to serve on the Court in 2005.

“I have represented individuals and businesses in the state and administrative courts most of my career,” Routch said. “My extensive court experience and work ethic will enable me to help reduce the current backlog of cases caused in part by the tragic loss of Judge Fred Miller.” Routch recently served as a representative to the PA Republican State Committee and a Vice Chair of the Blair County Republican Committee. He is an arbitrator by appointment from the Blair County Court of Common Pleas.

Routch’s campaign committee is chaired by fellow State Committeeperson Kathy Gassler, who stated, “I know Mike will be a strong asset to the Blair County courts. In addition to being a skilled and experienced attorney of more than 30 years, Mike is a proven conservative who we can trust as our next Blair County common pleas judge.”

Routch previously was a partner in the Hollidaysburg firm of Evey, Routch, Black, Dorezas, Magee & Levine, and is currently an attorney in the Altoona office of Quatrini Law Group.

He is married, with two adult daughters, and resides in Duncansville.

Starting at $2.99/week.
