Details released in fatal accident

More information has been released about the fatal accident that occurred Tuesday night in Duncansville Borough.

According to a state police report, Donald Miller, 82, of Duncansville was crossing Route 22 in the borough when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle being driven by a 39-year-old Duncansville resident.

Live-saving measures were conducted at the scene, police reported, however Miller succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Miller was wearing dark clothing while crossing the road at 8:23 p.m.
