Brooke Nia Zimmerman

Brooke Nia Zimmerman, 34, of Altoona, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at her residence.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Don W. Zimmerman and Brenda L. (Hann) Zimmerman.
Surviving are her parents of Williamsburg; two sons, Kamden A. Detwiler and Easton J. McNelis, both at home; a sister, Heather A. Zimmerman (Pat Bottenfield) of Williamsburg; two brothers, Shawn M. Zimmerman and Tyler M. Zimmerman (Kayla), both of Williamsburg; four nephews; two nieces; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
She was a 2008 graduate of Williamsburg High School. Brooke was employed as an office manager at Traficante Family Chiropractic in Altoona and was also working at the Amazon warehouse in Altoona.
Brooke loved spending time with family, especially with her boys, Kamden and Easton, and also playing in alumni basketball games with her former Blue Pirate teammates, known as “The Bad Moms Club.” She also enjoyed vacationing with her family; some of her favorite places were the beach, the Caribbean and going to Atlanta to watch the Braves.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, at Williamsburg Alliance Church and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at the church, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Mr. David Cadle officiating. Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
