Dorothy M. Lombardo
Dorothy M. Lombardo, 96, Tyrone, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at Preserve of Cedarwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Tyrone.
She was born in Coalport, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Schiffauer) Feigh. Dorothy, a longtime resident of Tyrone, moved there in the 1950s when she married the late Robert L. Linsenbigler, who died in 1985. In October 1997, she married Samuel G. Lombardo, who died June 18, 2016.
Surviving are nieces and nephews; and her dear friends, Mary Rossi, Barb McNelis and Susan and Kent Friday.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters; and her son, Robert E. Linsenbigler, who died in August 2018.
Dorothy was a longtime employee of Big Yank Corp in Tyrone and a devout member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Tyrone.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Tyrone, Father Michael Pleva, celebrant. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Mass. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are by Derman Funeral Home Inc.
