Frank Bakaysa

Frank Bakaysa, 81, of Blain City, Coalport, passed away Monday. He was a son of the late George and Annie (Hook) Bakaysa. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; and siblings: George, Mike, Andy, John, Charles, Anna Sawyer and Susan Patrick. Surviving are a son, Doug; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, where a Panikhida Service will follow at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, at St. Michael Orthodox Church, Irvona.
