Miriam A. Stoltz

She was preceded in death by sisters, Marguarte Lattner and Florence Kirby; and brothers: Charles, James and Timothy.

She is survived by her children: Timothy (Lois), Barry (Sue), Pamela (James) Lego and Douglas (Ruth); grandchildren: Sarah Stoltz (Matt Lillybridge), Matthew (Kylie) Stoltz, Carol (Joe) Bono, Molly Merrick, Brooke Stoltz, Jimmy Lego, Julie Stoltz and Jake Stoltz; great-grandchildren: Christian, Avery, Aurora, Ella, Weston, Carter, Adaline and Micah; a special niece, Cecelia Boston; and many other nieces and nephews.

Miriam worked as a registered nurse for Penna. State, retiring in 2000. She loved being with her family, going to the beach, camping, the sun in her face, sitting on the porch, gardening, refinishing furniture and crossword puzzles. She was a graduate of Cresson Joint School, Class of 1956, and Altoona School of Nursing.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at 2 p.m., the Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal will be held at the church cemetery.
