Perry Collins ‘Chip’ Claar

Perry Collins “Chip” Claar, 76, formerly of Portage, died Saturday. He was the son of the late Taylor and Anna Ruth (Claar) Dodson. Surviving are his wife, Janetta (George) Claar; a daughter, Colleen, and son-in-law, Patrick Tully; son, Perry Jr.; and son, Daniel, and daughter-in-law, Mandi Enedy; and grandchildren: Jacquelyn Williamson, Nicholas Tully and Alexandra Tully; along with his loving sister, Kathliene (Dodson) Treon (Bill). At the family’s request, all services will be private. Arrangements are by Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Portage.
