June A. Yingling

June A. Yingling, 90, of Bellwood, died late Saturday evening at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. She was born in Bellwood, a daughter of the late Shellar H. and Bessie G. (Reed) Reigh.
On Aug. 26, 1955, she married James W. Yingling Jr. in Bellwood. He preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2012.
Surviving are her children: Jenny (Bill) Maloney of Bellwood, James B. of Tyrone and Jonathan S. (Cheryl) of Altoona; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Barbara L. Campbell of Lewes, Del.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Billy; and a daughter-in-law, Connie.
June was a 1952 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and a member of Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood, where she served as a deacon.
In 1969, she began her employment as a cafeteria cook at Bellwood-Antis School District and in June 1993, she retired after 24 years of service.
June enjoyed watching television, especially QVC and Hallmark movies. For many years, she and her husband enjoyed taking evening drives looking for deer. She loved cats and is survived by her furry friend, Sassy.
To honor her wishes, services will be private at the convenience of her family.
Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.
The family suggests that contributions in June’s memory be made to Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood; or
Bellwood-Antis Public Library.
