I would like to know when our elections lost their integrity, dignity and honesty.

It would seem that since campaign finance laws changed that allowed for dark monies, the cork came out of the jug and we are certainly at a loss for what has become of our election process.

I can recall in the late 80s, during a presidential race where a candidate was outed for having an affair, he immediately did the right thing and withdrew from the race. Today, it would appear that’s no grounds for even raising an eyebrow. The AFL-CIO has endorsed the Harris/Walz ticket, Bob Casey for U.S. Senate and Beth Farnham for U.S. Congress. We don’t want to return to the Trump era when Blair County lost nearly 2,000 family wage sustaining jobs. I urge everyone to vote with a conscience and support those who support working families.
