Trump voters were not duped
In a Feb. 11 letter, Mr. Dodson complains that President Donald Trump didn’t have his hand on the Bible. He fails to mention the justice started the oath before his family was able to gather around him. There is no constitutional requirement to place your hand on the Bible.
Dodson tries to blame Trump for the price of eggs and medication.
Those prices were going up before Trump got elected.
The CDC, NIH and the WHO lied to us about COVID-19. The CDC became political. Dodson claims the moves keep us uninformed and a clear and present danger to our health. I say they did that during COVID.
Next he claims ICE has been unleashed on innocent people. That is false. By federal law if you come into this country illegally that is a crime and a reason to deport that person.
It was Biden who undid all the policies that were in place at the border. Then he restricted the border patrol from actually doing their jobs. The Biden administration also claimed the border was secured. If Biden would have kept the policies in place, there would be no mass deportations going on now.
Dodson complained about taking time off to play golf and host the GOP at Mar-a-Lago at taxpayer expense. I have to ask Mr. Dodson why he didn’t complain about the monthlong vacations in Hawaii taken by President Barack Obama. Or Biden taking a vacation 40% of the time during his term. Or the security that had to be provided while Biden was on the beach multiple times.
Don’t get me wrong, presidents should be able to take time off to relax and recharge.
No Mr. Dodson, we are not feeling duped. A recent CBS poll shows that 53% of Americans approve of Trump’s job performance.
