I’m voting for and supporting Lou Schmitt for Blair County Court of Common Pleas Judge.

As a constitutional purist, retired litigator and corporate counsel, and concerned citizen, I understand how crucial it is to select the right person for this important position.

I’ve personally known Lou since we attended Roosevelt Junior High School. We’ve stayed in touch into adulthood. I’ve seen Lou evolve from a whip-smart kid who had a talent for basketball, into a loving family man who worked diligently as a lawyer/mediator and then respected state official.

Lou is perceptive and exercises practical judgment. At his central core, Lou values the Rule of Law. He understands the importance of being a judge who interprets the law rather than making it. Additionally, Lou has a good action plan to break up the case backlog currently pending.

Lou will be an outstanding, fair judge who will render wise decisions.
