Martin Oil sweeps its doubleheader

BELLWOOD — Martin Oil swept its way past Roof Works USA with a 6-5 win in the opening game and a 7-1 victory in the nightcap in Kelley Federation 19U action at Bellwood-Antis High School on Monday.

In the first game, Camden Swogger and Chase Plummer recorded two hits and two runs scored each, while Josh Dorminy pushed across two runs for Martin Oil.

Luke Repko and Corbin Vinglish led Roof Works with two hits each.

In game two, Landon Sneath registered three RBIs and two hits for Martin, while Swogger doubled twice and Jackson Dorminy had two RBIs.

Zeigler tops Tyrone

NEW PARIS — Kole Clark went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI for Zeigler Chevrolet in a 5-2 win over Tyrone Legion in Kelley Federation 19U play at Chestnut Ridge High School.

Cole Nicodemus, Tyler Yatta and Blake Conlon knocked in one run apiece for Zeigler.

Owen Oakes and Ben Walk delivered two hits each for Tyrone.
