HOLLIDAYSBURG — The team of Terry Goldstein, Gary Zimmerman and Don Stubbs won the Senior Men’s Tournament held at the Sylvan Hills Golf Club on a cardoff.

They finished at 33.

Second-place honors went to the team of Dex Meadows, Jim Burke, Rodger Fair and Gary Phennicie. The team of Joe DeGennaro, John Roland, Jeff Vaughn and Dick Anderson took third (34).

CRESSON — The teams of Collin Reese and Bill Thomas, John Dziabo and Ryan Giblock, and Matt Henry and Phil Gaida shared the championship of the Summit Country Club Men’s Division Two-Player Scramble recently, each shooting a 52.

The team of Chrissy Sears, Lauren Graham and Bev Holtz shot a 53 to win the Women’s Division Three-Player Scramble.

Scotch Valley CC

HOLLIDAYSBURG — The team of Anthony DeGol, Joe Pfeffer and Cam Dix tied the team of Reece McDermitt, Scott McDermitt and Dave Elliot for first place in the Scotch Valley Country Club 3-Person Scramble.

Each team shot a 63. Third place went to Mike O’Connor, Bob Strawser and Daniel Adams with a 64.

Huntingdon CC

HUNTINGDON — The team of Bob Lamey and Alan Herbster won the Big Orange Golf League title at the Huntingdon Country Club.

It was the 47th year of play for the league.

Lamey and Herbster beat the team of Ed Gargula and Larry Newton in the finals. It notched the winners the second cycle title and the overall league title.

They began with birdies on No. 10 and 11 from Lamey, and the competition ended on No. 16 when Herbster chipped in from off the green for the birdie.
