Red Flash get plenty of points in home win
LORETTO — The Saint Francis men’s basketball team jumped out to a 19-pint first half lead Tuesday night before holding on in the end, beating Lehigh, 88-78, inside the DeGol Arena.
The Red Flash (3-5), up 55-36 at the break, got 23 points from Riley Parker on an 11-for-18 showing fro the field. He also added seven assists.
Bobby Rosenberger III added 21 points on an 8-for-14 showing from the field. He added eight rebounds. Juan Cranford Jr. chipped in with eight points.
Lehigh (1-5), which got the lead down to four points at one point in the second half, received 21 points from Tyler Whitney-Sidney, 18 from Keith Higgins Jr. and 1 points from Cam Gillus.
The Red Flash, whose bench outscored Lehigh’s, 21-17, are back at it this Sunday when they host Radford.
