Twelve members of the Blair Regional YMCA Tigersharks swim team qualified recently for the 2025 PA YMCA State Championships.

The event will be held today through Sunday at the Peak Health Aquatic Center in West Virginia.

Competing for the local team include Owen Dunklebarger (100 Fly), Margaret Bandstra (100 Breast), Julia Van Kleunen (100 Back), Izzy Brown (200 Fly), Davina Holton (100 Breast and 200 Medley Relay), Holland Boone (50 Back, 100 Back, 100 Fly, and 200 Medley Relay), Emma Brown (100 Back), Brynn Merrill (200 Medley Relay), Evelyn Holton (200 Medley Relay), Addison Smith (500 Free), Alexys Tomlinson (200 Breast) and Patrick Van Kleunen (100 Back and 200 Back).
