Lady Mustangs upset CV for first win of season

PORTAGE — The Portage softball team got its first win of the season, upsetting Conemaugh Valley, 7-6, Wednesday in high school action.
The Lady Mustangs (1-12) got two hits and two runs scored from Kendall Stancovich, two hits and an RBI from Lyndsey Castel and two RBIs from winning pitcher Payton Noll.
Teammate Mikaila McCoy added two RBIs to go with two hits from Adasyn Trusik against the 7-5 Lady Blue Jays.
